Well, I will tell you this much, I checked several online comic sellers. And none of them had Cap #14 in stock, and they were out of a lot of the other caps from this series as well. I'm starting to vascillate on whether or not to sell mine-It's a 9.8 easy- but I hate to sell my little jewels.

GG

grog, you might want to "edit" your post, here a hint, the last sentence....

--------------------------------------------

“I don’t do this for the Commander in Chief.  I do this for my country, and I will continue to do so.”

"They are blind to history's clear lesson, for history teaches with unmistakable emphasis that appeasement but begets new and bloodier war. It points to no single instance where this end has justified that means, where appeasement has led to more than a sham peace. Like blackmail, it lays the basis for new and successively greater demands until, as in blackmail, violence becomes the only other alternative."

"Why," my soldiers asked of me, "surrender military advantages to an enemy in the field?" I could not answer.

I just won an auction for 20 miscellaneous comics including Cap 8-14 for $30

I think people are ovelooking this one because it was a lot. I plan to resell this one immediately when I get in, before the hype slow down.

I'm thinking of selling mine also but we'll see.

I don't know Ebay is starting to get flooded with these #14's now. This may last a month or 2 then be over.

After 3 weeks I received the books. The seller charged me less for shipping ($20 when the actual cost is $28) and the Cap 14 is the better book in the lot, a 9.6 for sure. All the books are in the 9.2 range, with the Cap 9 (including in this lot Cap 8 9 11 12 13 14, BAtman 618 619, Catwoman 56 57 58 59, Captain America and the Falcon 8 9 10 11 12 and Thanos one shot) being little damaged (VF range).

So I think it's a good deal. Now about selling Cap 14, on ebay it still get $20-$30 but I think I'll try to put together a full run of vol 5. It's the first time I am interested on a comic with Cap, but I have to say what I read (25 to current) is really top notch, and potentially it's going to be a classic. And dont forget a Cap movie is expected for 2009
