Earl, you have by far the most wide-ranging comic collecting interests I've seen. What guidelines do you follow? Do you go for whatever takes your fancy? Trying for a little bit of everything maybe? Whatever it is, I say more power to you. I'm always guaranteed to see something interesting in your thread, so keep with the good works.
------------- what do I got? see for yourself: http://www.comicspriceguide.com/world/default.asp?m=Speedy-D Thanks to Kree_boy411 I've discovered the Comic Book Realm

I like to juxtapose ultra completionism of some titles/publishers/genre's with a representation of something from every country/publisher/era and genre. I want my collection to resemble more of an archive than a collection. So I am trying to get every DC from 1970 to 1985, every 2000 AD (there are over 1500 of them), all the Ruperts, the Tintins, the X-Men. And then throw in a few samples from all the 100+ countries of the world, something from every publisher, a strong Golden Age collection, a sampling of undergrounds, all the critically acclaimed graphic novels, newspaper comic collections, manga, Classics, Modern indies etc, etc, etc.

Just wow! That is amazing to have that type of goal when it comes to comic collecting. I wish you the best of luck in this journey of yours!!

I have never heard of 2000AD but it looks interesting. Is it a British publication? It is one-offs or more along the lines of a Doctor Who?
Need INFO!
Where does he get those wonderful toys!
I have yet begun to surrender.

2000 AD is a weekly British science fiction-oriented comic. As a comics anthology it serialises a number of separate stories each "prog" and was first published by IPC Magazines in 1977, the first issue dated February 26. IPC, later Fleetway, continued to produce the title until 2000, when it was bought by Rebellion Developments. Due in part to its weekly publication schedule, it is one of only a few comics to surpass 1,500 issues.
