You got a pretty good deal on that Mutt and Jeff comic. How are those older comics as far as the story goes, are they actually any funny?

Epcomics (4/7/2008) You got a pretty good deal on that Mutt and Jeff comic. How are those older comics as far as the story goes, are they actually any funny?I prefer them for the artistic style of the day rather than the story but some of them are ok. Some miss elements of modern sensibility.

| Won today. Put in a low bid on this one and won. Thought the cover looked fun and was worth a $2 punt.

| Next up is my low grade X-Men No.1. I got this from a UK mail order company called Cosmic Comics. I was still living with my parents at the time and saving for a deposit on my first house so it was all I could afford at the time and I have never bothered to upgrade. I think I must have got this in around 1990 give or take a year.

| Long time forum members will know I like my variants. Here is an X-Men No. 3 I have that was one of the Marvel's printed for distribution to the UK. Sadly these tend to sell for half or less what the 12 cents edition fetches. I purchased this from a comic fair in Sheffield, Yorkshire in the mid 90's.
