As we are over at a new forum I thought I would take the opportunity to post some of my existing collection as well as some new entries as they arrive. I am quite lazy at scanning my own collection so not sure how often I will update, so we will see how it goes. I will start with a few books I already have images for.

We will start with an ebay win from the last week. Some of you may know that I like to try and get full sets of some Modern publishers. This one is from Speakeasy. It's the Michael turner Sketch cover to Atomika 4 which was limited to 500 copies. I already have a raw version of this but spotted this production error in CGC 9.8 on ebay and snapped it up as a curiosity item even though it's not part of the formal full set, being an error and all.

In about 1979 I was on a School trip to China Town in Manchester, England. I was 11 at the time. We we forbidden to shop but sneaking away from the rest of the party I found a small indoor market selling incense and comics imported from Hong Kong. I picked up this along with 3 others. Please don't tell Mr. Brownbill

I don't know, sorry. I can't read the dates

Here are the other 3 I got back in 1979...

They were published by a company called Tam Kee Co. On the old boards someone kindly translated them for me as...

Lo Wan Yeu Ha [Old Man under The Moon]
Sum Gui [Reveal Ghost]
Gwat Fu Wan Lei Man
Xian Hu Xiao [Immortal Fox Small]

Earl.

Cool books I was thinking about picking up a few of the Turner covers on the Atomika series as well... What is the production error on the copy you picked up?

A number of the pages were printed out of order.

Thanks.

Next up is a comic from 1984. My first exposure to the Teen Titans was the Raven Spotlight issue from 1982. From 1982 to 1985 I was a major Titans fan. I struggled to afford the Baxter issues when they started but I love this cover...
