hey y'all!
i was emailed by a collector that is selling his underground collection (& other books) & since i am not in a position to tender any serious offers I am passing this on to the good people of this message board.

email me at oldmilwaukee6er@hotmail.com for the excel spreadsheet (or PDF) & contact info. i get the feeling that it should be serious offers only, but i will pass the information along

no plymels, but there was a pretty good collection. the guy has paid an assistant to catalog the books & there is a mention of grade & price in the spreadsheet. he sold his ECs through Heritage & i guess that left a bad taste in his mouth. he has asked me a few questions regarding CGC grading & i answered honestly (mostly offering that he should grade only those 1st print books over $x and serious 9.4+, otherwise it becomes a money-pit).

ANYways, hollar if you want the deets.

in other news things in the MKE have been great. i am still gainfully underemployed, but enjoying antiquing the wisconsin countryside & otherwise living a simple life.

the wife & i are shunning all familial responsibilities this christmas-new years & heading to amsterdam for 6 nights. booked a nice little package through expedia- nonstop flights & hotel (crown plaza) & it is our first time to Holland & only our second time to europe. so excited i cannot even say & i would appreciate if anybody has some underground-esque suggestions while we are there. holla at yo boy!

yours, Om (justin)

ps. intensely jealous of the recent Air Pirates snags from fishnuts! fishnuts!

Lambiek bookstore is a must see. Too bad the Real Free Press is long gone.

I got the same message from the anonymous person. I think it was probably someone spamming everyone.

Just a cursory glance at that list reveals another person who has valued an SF Comic Book #1 per Fogel. If the guy's for real someone should jump on that!

Saw that and another one, but I think they're trying to sell the collection as a whole?

Each title run has a subtotal, so I figure any offer is fair game? It looks like it could go either way....as a whole or a piece. But you're probably right. Nice fanzine collection too!

Hey, Justin. I sent an e-mail, but never got a reply—perhaps an over-zealous spam filter got in the way. Would someone please send me the list? vwlssknght @ hotmail . com ?

if you visit lambiek you could get a shock...
2 years ago they had a damage by water just direct over their collection of old undergrounds. the most ug are damaged and they sell them for small bucks.
i found there a copy of "Those Lovable Peace-Nuts" and "Melotoons #02" in nice condition because there where packed.
