No idea what comicbacks are but I sure like stripbooks  "Stripbooks" are what you call them on your side of the ocean...
Ray Bottorff Jr coined the name "comicbacks" (an amalgamation of "comic strip" and "paperbacks") when he started putting together a checklist/pricelist several years ago... You can find the most recent copy of his reference work and fellow collectors of paperback-size collections of strips at the Yahoo Group... http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ComicBacks/?yguid=391983234 If you join up...Let him know you heard about it at CPG! PS to Earl... When I go back to that bookstore...my next grab is the dozen or so "Andy Capp" books they had in stock...should fill a few holes in my collection...
