I just purchased HULK #16 Ed McGuinness VARIANT Cover 1:200 on EBAY from a UK seller for $85.00 in 9.6 condition. The cover with Red Hulk and Deadpool. I have seen this issue sell for around $190.00 and is worth around $200.00 on the CPG site.
I need help in deciding what I should do.
1) Sell it on Ebay and prob get double of what I paid for it
2) CGC it and keep
3) CGC it and prob sell it for $250 to $400 on ebay.
PLEASE HELP I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO!!

The big question is... Is that variant always going to be worth so much? If you're concerned about a profit. I would sell it. There are a lot of people including myself looking for it right now.
On the other hand if you're collecting Deadpool / Hulk. KEEP IT!! You'll regret it.
That is all..

Sell it now. Take whatever profit you get and hold on to it. 5 months from now buy it for less than a third of what you paid for it. If you wait until you get it back from CGC, it won't sell near as well, and might not grade as well either.

Yep, it's fun to buy a comic you used to have when you get the new one for less than you sold the last copy for...

Why would this 1:200 variant go down form $200.00 to $80.00. I am new to comic collecting and dont understand why a 1:200 variant would go down in value. Wouldnt it go up due to limited copies in the market place. Now the one on EBAY is selling for $250+

D-E-M-A-N-D! It is new, it is hot and some people are speculators not collectors. Until the next big thing comes along in 2 weeks it will sell, after that you will see the prices drop dramatically. Look at any so-called "limited variant" and follow the pricing tiers. 1 - 2 months High, 3- 6 months medium, after 6 months stable or dropping rapidly. Very few premiums retain their value or escalate (Batman 608, Ultimate Spider-Man 1 White) most drop down to affordable very quickly.

Does this limited edition comic come poly bagged with a trading card?
