Well, Uncle Scrooge # 384 from Boom! is now out.

It's like yeah, new scrooge. With stories I've don't already have ten copies of.
But it's also, boo, boo, boo! Four covers!!!!!! ARG!!!!!!

And they know they can get away with it because us complete-ists, yeah, I have a full run, will get all four covers.

It makes me sick

Since I will be getting all four series, and all the covers.

Well they are only taking advantage of some people's desires. If there was no demand they would only print it with one cover. I ordered two issues (one for myself and one for a friend) and got two different covers. I had no desire to pick up any of the other covers and I rarely do. So it isn't my fault they keep doing multiple/variant covers.

I am the same way. I take what I am given unless I actually would like to have one of the other covers. I bought a few variants this year but not because I needed them because I wanted them. Variants or multiple covers don't bother me because I am not a completist.

^ Same here. But I refuse to buy covers that are exactly the same but with different colouring or something missing..I don't feel that warrents the name of 'varient'..I think it should be called 'lazy cover'..heh. But sure if the cover is very different(it feels like a must have) and then I can have normal copy as a reader and the varient as no touch..However, later down the track I'd most likely get rid of my reader copy though.
