I'm trying to find the name of a movie about a mysterious person in a car who murders people. In the movie he winds up killing a tow truck driver's son. The tow truck than modifies his truck to take on the mysterious driver. I remember the car's hubcaps had drills and the truck's hubcap had these saw bits and the tow truck hook could also be used as a weapon?

Stephen King's Maximum Overdrive? The truck had a face of the Green Goblin on the grill.

I think you have your movies mixed up...

Your Tow-truck sounds like the one from "Jeepers Creepers 2"

Converted truck with the harpoon firing aparatus that the farmer and his son used to hunt down the Creeper after his youngest son was eaten..

The other thing i can think of is either "The Car" from 1977, more of a demon car than anything else...great B movie..

or "Wheels of Terror" 1999/ basically a psycho in a righteous dodge terrorizing little girl(the perv!)..takes a ticked off mom to put him down like the rabid animal he is...awesome duel on wheels...

hope it helps..

Yes, Wolfie likes his b-movies..

"Great Spirit, Maker of all life. Grant me the strength to deal with these unreasonable souls...and the wisdom to not send the flaming arrow of death through their brains..."

Me...
