I know things are tight but if it's in your backyard you should really go. I live in Lebanon which is about 90 miles from Portland, how about you?

End of Line....

Dude...you're kidding?!?...Lebanon? ......might as well be Sweet Home or Brownsville...or even Sodaville or Waterloo...

I hang out a few miles west of you...

Been to PCC many times over the years...set up at it a few times even...

But it's become more and more fleamarket-like over the years...and unless there's an artist or creator I want to meet...I don't go through the hassle. Spring one used to be a go, because the wife would drag me up to Portland for the Garden Show at the convention center that would usually be the same weekend...and I'd use the Con to escape...

I see from the flyer Mike Grell is going to be there...I might drag some old piece out of my collection and take it up for him to sign... They always seem to get a kick out of some of the stuff I bring from the late 1970's...

A few miles west? That puts you smack in the middle of a Rye grass farm zone. Dude, we need to meet. I have no comic friends local at all plus you got comics I want. I bet you have been to Matts comics in Corvallis. So it looks like Mike Grell got stated in the 70's doing DC? I dont have much in that dept but I will scrounge around for something. I don't have much money, will probably spend as much on comics at the PCC as the cost to go up there , get in and have lunch. Maybe we could car pool? I am really going just for the fun of it for I can score better deals on the internet but it's the activity it's self that most interest me. I wish a 60's Marvel artist was going to show or Matt from CI or even CGC.

Hi have been getting together a bunch  of peeps from CGC for a meet at izzy's after all the hoopla. This seems to be the closest izzy's. I will call them ahead of time and get them to set aside some table's. If you want to meet there around 3:00 ish let me know.

I always read these things too late.   I went.....spent about 60 bucks plus addmission, which keeps going up every show it seems.  I agree that I get better deals online, but I like to go and look around and enjoy all the comics and people.  It's more for fun that for adding to my collection.

Hope you all had a good time.
