| Hey i found this comic sealed in a white back with the superman logo on the front? part of the cover from what i can see through the bag seems to be covered by a white card...whats the deal with this? is it special?

| It's not special, except as the first sign of the collapse of the comic book market in the '90s due to large print runs and special gimmick covers. It was bagged so that no one would actually read what was inside and discover how crap the story was. Actually, it was for the return of Superman after he died (the issue he died was in a black bag).

No special reason for the bag other than what thatjerk stated about it being a gimmick. The thought was probably that if it was sealed in a bag and the other comics that came out the same week were not, it must be special ... I need to buy two, one to open and read and one to keep sealed in "mint" condition. lol.
