I've been recently pricing out my collection and was suprised to find that the "worthless" odds and ends of comics that my Mom had bought me at garage sales were often in the $20-$50 range in value. I'm encouraging her now to go out and buy up anything with a 35 cents or less price on the cover. Usually the people at garage sales just want to get rid of them.

Does anyone else go garage sale'ing?

My dad and I hit about 50 everyweekend and a vast majority of my colelction is from garage sales 70%.

We have found that of you ask they usually still have it inside because the box was to heavy or didn't think anybody would be interested.  I fyou have the time and patience and know how to map out a route its well worth your time.
