Hmmm,
The seller probably wouldn't respond. He don't sound none too thrilled about having to deal with the comics. A ASM #1, 9.4? Oy. Could be. It isn't a Golden Record Reprint because it has a price on it.
DANG!! If I had the cash to throw away...I might, MIGHT, just chance it. It doesn't have a false ring to it to me, but I've been wrong before.

| I asked the name of the father's comic shop that was being sold out and my reply was: Mister Marvel's Corner in Miami, FL.
I couldn't find it when I searched for it.
The seller tothestars09 is listed as being in Hadinsburg, KY. and has a feedback of 2, both as a buyer from the same seller atechs2007 listed as being from Shelbyville, KY. The first purchase that tothestars09 made from atechs2007 was a 200+ lot of modern comics for $45.23 (the second purchase was a laptop). Now, I'm not saying it's not legit, but why buy a random lot of 200+ modern comics in August when your dad owns a store in Miami, FL.??? Also, why buy 200+ comics if you are bitter toward your dad because he spent all his time with the comic store??? If you had 5G's to put on hold for 60 days or so while you fought this over with PayPal then it might be worth a shot. Having a CGC 9.4 ASM #1 for that price would certainly make you some profit (even if the other 90,000+ comics were crap). So has anybody ever heard of Mister Marvel's Corner in Miami, FL. ?

"they are in some sort of special casing, so i figured they were important."
... special casing with the letters "CGC" on them all.
... and I can not bother to look up ANYTHING on Google for 30 seconds.

| I received this message from the seller just moments after I commented above ... exact quote: "I figured it was worth money, but I honestly wouldn't care if it was worth one million dollars, it means I get rid of it and then I'm through with this whole thing. And if it means that someone will become very happy because of this, then that is good enough." Why would you purposely take less money than you know you could get? I mean, A LOT less money. That is pretty bitter.

And the father is alive, just injured from an accident and cannot run the store.
Can't the father liquidate his business' inventory?

| His only two activities on eBay have been to buy a Toshiba Satellite Lap Top and a lot of 200 common comic books(Supes/Bats/X-men/52/ Cival War)! Why would he brother to buy a bunch of modern comics on eBay, when his father owns a comic book store? If he likes comics that much to buy 200 of them, it shows that he some interest in them, so why wouldn't he have any interest in a whole store filled with great stuff? I'm very suspicious. The three close up photos of the slabbed books look like they have been photographed against different backgrounds. Don't you think that he would have photographed them at the same time against the same background? What right does he have to come in and sell his dad's store while his dad is still alive? Would $5000+ be enough to cover paying off the rent, utilities and the companies that he receives his books from and medical costs? His location says Kentucky, so does anyone recognize the inside of that comic store? I wonder if you would offer to pick up the items in person with your own truck and pay in cash if he would go for it? After all, he doesn't want to be brothered BUT he says that he is willing to load up his truck and drive it to your location. Isn't that a big hassle for him?

The store is "Mister Marvel's Corner in Miami, FL."

For possibly hundreds of thousands of dollars of merchandise, I would drive there to pick it all up for $5,000 + U-Haul rental. (IF I had $5,000 free and the guts to do it.)
