I just found a copy of the third issue today (after hearing that there was actually a super-hero named squirrel girl i had to see it!) and i thought that it was hilarious...a nice spoof on all of the other comics ive been collecting.
anyone else read these? i cant wait to find the others. stupid but hilarious.

I remember when they first came out in West Coast Avengers (yes, I bought it regularly ), you knew they weren't supposed to be anything but comic relief... and it was funny. I remember Byrne was the dude on WCA at the time, wonder if he was the one who thought them up? The only character I didn't really go for was Flatman, too much of a 'Mr. Fantastic' take-off, I mean I know it was meant to be a stab at Reed, just hard to have two of the same dudes (pretty much) in the same universe. As for the later appearances, I read some of them when I had an online subscription to Marvel, they were good for a laugh as well.
