I have been given some old comic books that seem to be in very good shape. They range from the sad sak and the sarge" to "The road runner". I would love to know what they're worth, if someone can contact me at gdking70@yahoo.com I will go into more detail on what I have.

You're best bet is to just click on the link at the top of this page that says "The Guide"...there you will find the most comprehensive listing of comics in the world...as well as FAQ's on grading, etc... just enter a portion of the title, like "Sarge" or "Sad Sack" and then match up the publisher and the year of publication...

Years of publication and the correct "title" of the series will be listed on the first page (usually) in a block of publishing information at the bottom of the page know as the "indicia"...

Happy hunting!

If you absolutely do not want to look them up yourself, by all means, PM me and we'll work out an agreement for doing an appraisal...

It is a good start but I posted about the guide and some of the prices not going with the market or being up to date on some books. I wish you could give me some help with my books, I got some that the guide over prices and lose a sale or find out that I under priced my books to just have the person(s) flip them to near market price and make the profit I lost out on.

I got some what of an answer to what I wanted from another person who posted on this site about the prices and the guide. Thank you.

As I mentioned in the other post...it has nothing to do with "guide"...it has to do with who's buying and who's selling and when they post...

Why do you think the guy that paid over guide didn't grab yours at under "market"??? ...and unless there is a history of several people "paying" that over guide price...it really isn't an uptick in the market...it's an anomoly...
