I picked up some comics from a local guy through Craigslist. One of the backboards he had in with one of those comics was this thing.
Is this something Marvel gave to Comic Stores to package with their sales?
Does anyone know the exact year(s) this was made?
It lists FF #1 as $3,300 - which would be OK for a 3.0, but not a 7-8.
It's kind of funny how at this time (probably early 90s) comic collecting was still seen as an incredible investment: "Even the one you bought last year for $1.95 is already worth more than four times its original price (Ghost Rider)" ... Riiiigggghhhttt. So my X-Men #1 (1991) goes for at LEAST $10 then!

I just thought it was interesting...

Oh please, you couldn't even turn into Bill Bixby.

Interesting... I've never seen one of those before. I've seen/own copies of the give-away(s) they've put out on collecting...but never a backing board... I'd love to find a copy for my archive...
