All those other less known titles were long gone. i was actually shocked those went before any of those 3..

| MY LCS limited us to 5 so I got: The Moth X-men Hellboy Broken Trinity All Star Superman It was really packed as they also had a bunch of artists doing OA and signing comics. Here is who was there: Our Artists this year include:

This is my first time experiencing the wonder of FCBD. I went to a store in Manhattan, Forbidden Planet, only to be told that the Free Comics were only for children. So scratch that place. I wandered up to 23rd street, to Cosmic Comics, and they were much more accommodating. So I wound up getting:
All-Star Superman #1
Dan Dare
GEKIGA!
Ignatz
Jungle Girl (believe it or not, she's cute!)
Justice Society Of America #2
Love & Capes #7
Wonder Woman #12
Wonder Woman #222
Uncanny X-Men
X-Men
I'm not sure what's up with there being a Wonder Woman #12 and a Wonder Woman #222. The 222 is from '05 and the 12 is from '07, so I guess they restarted the numbering some time in '06?
Yep, #226, if memory serves, was the last issue of Vol. 2. Vol. 3 started after Infinite Crisis.

Everything was pretty much gone by the time that I had got there at 5. They had saved me an X-Men, and I got an Iron Man heroclix, but I was really wanting an Atomic Robo.Guess I'll have to try to find one on EBay.

| I got to my LCS at about 1:30..and Missed Steve Rude by ten minutes! damnit! But my shop guy, the cool guy he is..Got Rude to do a Sketch for me...so I got a sketch of the Silver Surfer by Steve Rude..who forgot to sign it..d'oh!..and a signed issue of the MOTH. So I was happy.. I also got DAN DARE/THE STRANDED FLIP BOOK IRON MAN/HULK/SPIDERMAN SHONEN JUMP SPECIAL GRAPHIC CLASSICS SUPER POWERS: DEATH-DEFYING DEVIL/CLAW EC SAMPLER IRON MAN HERO CLIX and five issues of Savage Sword of Conan..42-46 for a buck ea... I also entered into a raffle ..Prizes are : Batman Begins Statue (priced at 195.00) Green Lantern, Alan Scott bust Wonder Woman T-shirt /Poster.. Fingers crossed..that batman statue is sweet...I'll find out by email...
