Here is the newest rumor...
Here is some info...
It seems Valiant Entertainment has filed a suit against Jim Shooter with the Supreme Court of the State of New York...
They are trying to permanently enjoin and restrain Jim, his agents and anyone working on his behalf (Dark Horse) from working on Magnus, Solar and Turok
Seems Jim was an employee of Valiant Entertainment since Dec 3, 2008?..
until few months ago
Joe Lauria, Jim’s friend and partner in Illustrated Media is so outraged and upset that he is offering to reimburse anyone who sends VEI products back to them... In any condition., Joe will reimburse their money
I hope everyone that supported VEI sees their true colors now. This is the response of a scorned lover.... "If I can't have him, no one can."

The Valiantfans board may be buzzing, but the VCS board is where all the action is...
Former Valiant Comics colorist JayJay dropped in to give Jim Shooter's side of the story here:

In the past week, the following joined...
David Lapham
Mike Leeke
Anthony Castrillo
Rich Johnston (Online Comics Journalist)
Seems like I'm missing some names.
Also, since Greg at Valiantfans is echoing everything VEI has been saying through other shills. It's starting too look like he may work for them. He posted on the CGC forum that VEI "deserves to be around forever." Can't really see how two college kids that pissed off both Bob Layton (in 2008) and Jim Shooter deserve anything. David Lapham said:
"There's a reason most of the old crew had no interest in working with them and...well...there you go....
A desperate move by desperate men. Just a real shame."
I don't know why fans would back VEI when they've succeeded in running off everyone with talent that ever worked on the original books.
