I have the opportunity to get this comic for $40, and I'm not sure if it would be a smart investment. The grade is a questionable 8.0 - 9.0 and I am not too good at grading anyways. So what would you do?
Also, if I buy it, I will post a scan of front and back on here to see what you guys think.

Great deal for a 9.0, not so much for an 8.0 too much room for error and especially if you do not trust your own grading skills. I would pass until I was more sure.
Where does he get those wonderful toys!
I have yet begun to surrender.

Is it TOO good a deal?
Is it the real issue, or some variant?
Can you get the seller to scan pics first?

well, its not actually a good deal, its at a discount bookstore by my house for $80 the guy who grades them is a collector and knows a lot. the reason i can get it for $40 is due to an employee discount I can get. I guess I'm going tomorrow to give it a good inspection and I'll upload scans if i get it !
