I got my other Birds of Prey lot in the mail today 51-127. I'm pretty happy with them, but I think I'll be replacing 4 of them for better copies soon. That's the downside to buying lots, but the upside far outweighs it when you look at the end cost.

I ordered Birds of Prey 43, 44, 47-50 from mycomicshop.com. They've been checked in, now it's just a matter of waiting. That'll complete the run for me. I've only read the first 14, last night, but it's been a fun read so far.

You killed Birds of Prey lickety split didn'cha? DANG!!

Well done. Lookit those sexsational covers! LOL!! I heard that Birds of Prey was a good read. Maybe I'll pick them up.

TEX

I've read up to 25 now and I think it's good.  I haven't even gotten to Simone's writing yet, which I think is the period that most like.  It's got kind of a spy/super hero feel to it.

I bought a comic yesterday just 'cuz it appealed to... um... Little Memo. You mean I'm not the only one?

Hugo M.

What comic was it?

Aw, shucks, now I'm embarrassed... cuz I "enjoyed" it and thought it was stupidly cheesy at the same time. Uh... Thor #356. I'll post a pic in my own 'new buys' thread sometime in the next couple days.

That actually looks pretty cool   The leg warmers scream 80's though, which I guess is appropriate since it came out in 85.

Got a few new comics on ebay this morning.  The seller that I had won Futurama 1-10 from last week sent me a message letting me know that he had listed 11,13-20.  I won them this morning.  Now to just track down #12.  I think it's kind of interesting.  Futurama comics seem to be in short supply, but they also seem to be in short demand.  Not used to that, at least they go fairly cheap, even though there aren't many on ebay or the main online sellers.

No images for that lot, he put up the same images as the first auction.  Anyway, got them both for $22.99 which included shipping.

And my wallet.  I'm still interested in picking up a few other runs of DC comics like Nightwing, Robin and Batgirl.  I saw a full run of Nightwing today (1-153 in NM) on ebay for $125 plus shipping of around $12.  $137 for a 153 issue run was to good to pass up.  That's less than $.90 a book.

Someone needs to take away my internet for a while...

Thanks to Tex and my lack of will power, I now have Futurama #12 for $8.84 total.

That gives me 1-20.  I'll have to actually organize my comics some before continuing.  I don't remember when I started picking this up off the shelf, but I think it was somewhere in the 20's.

LOL!!

I was happy to help you exercise your lack of willpower. LOL!!

Seriously, congrats. That book is not found in many places.

I needed to get the first three issues of the new Batgirl run, so I picked up the variant to #1 off of ebay.

Not the most spectacular variant cover, but the regular cover wasn't all that impressive either

I'm also trying to get back up to speed with the Teen Titans, so I picked up these two lots.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250505264837

Issues 1-31,34-59 plus extras

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=370265847767

Issues 1-17

I paid a little more than I had wanted to for the first lot, but it does come with 3 of the 4 versions of issue #1 and supposedly the sketch cover 4th printing is signed by Michael Turner, which seems kind of cool.
