Yet another new guy thread, but like most people, I want to be a part of something larger. Why not start my own threat? The best part is that even if I'm the only one that looks, I can have a cool conversation with myself, or something like that... I've been picking up some Batman comics recently and have started moving into other DC titles. I have wondered into Harley Quinn and Birds of Prey too. As a result, I got this off of Ebay this weekend to compliment the Batman Harly Quinn that I bought last week.
The first comic appearance of Harley Quinn. As opposed to the first appearance of Harley Quinn in the standard DC universe which was the Batman Harley Quinn book that I got last week. I also ordered Harley Quinn 10, 17,18 and 19 from my comicshop.com. I'm just missing the last issue now (38). I liked the series best when Kessel was writing and Dodson did the art.

I also got my Futurama 1-10 in the mail today and my first two birds of prey lots giving me 1-42, 45 and 46. To many to picture here, but the highlight is #8.

Brizzown (9/29/2009) I give this thread 5 gold stars, two thumbs up and 10 points. Thanks for the friendly comments. It just occurred to me, looking at the covers, that my recent purchases seem to be rather hormone motivated.

TEX They were a great fun read too. One of those rare times where I judged a book by it's cover and it lived up to my expectations.

| I got my other Birds of Prey lot in the mail today 51-127. I'm pretty happy with them, but I think I'll be replacing 4 of them for better copies soon. That's the downside to buying lots, but the upside far outweighs it when you look at the end cost. I ordered Birds of Prey 43, 44, 47-50 from mycomicshop.com. They've been checked in, now it's just a matter of waiting. That'll complete the run for me. I've only read the first 14, last night, but it's been a fun read so far. Far to many covers to clog this up with, but here are a couple that fuel the hormone motivated theory.
