Hey there,

I just moved and ever since I can't browse comicspriceguide. Whenever pages try to load off the main page, the operation times out. I have also received error messages if I try and access my account or boxes. Any help would be reeally appreciated. Thanks.

Can you post the error messages?
When you moved, what new hardware did you get? (Internet Cable Box, another Router/Wireless router?)

Hi there, thanks for the reply. I have been having a hard time sending you info as I can't even get onto the forums 80% of the time. This is the only site that has been doing this so far. Here is what I've been getting:

The connection was reset

The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

    *   The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
          moments.

    *   If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
          connection.

    *   If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

Also if I try and access my boxes, I get an error message or my browser freezes up. Some of the comics I had boxed are no longer there. Could there be a problem with my account and not my laptop?

I have a comtrend CT-301 ADSL Modem and a D-Link DI-524 Wireless Router. Let me know if you need anymore info. Thanks again.

Have you tried using a browser besides Firefox?

This may be a cookie/temp internet file issue.  For a while, there were multiple problems across platforms with cookie errors.  Try clearing all cookies and temporary internet files off.

Hopefully that should work.  I am not sure how Firefox works, but I know with newer IE versions, you have to specifically tell it to delete the cookies for your favorites and most viewed pages.  Otherwise, it saves those.

Try that first.  Hope that helps.

Basically, for troubleshooting, we have these layers:
1) The application you are using (your browser).
2) What the application is running on (your computer).
3) What your computer connects to (your wireless router).
4) What THAT hardware connects to (the ADSL Modem).
... then there is The Internet (including the wires to your home) ...
5) What destination you are connecting to (ComicsPriceGuide).

So try troubleshooting each layer:
For #1 - Like argus said: Try another browser.
For #2 - Does another computer, using the same connection route (your wireless connection), have any problems?
For #3 - Connect your computer DIRECTLY to the ADSL Modem, bypassing the Wireless Router.
For #4 - Can you connect somewhere else (friend's house, some business's wireless) with your computer?
