Everyone has their own "Holy Grails" in the world of comics.
Mine are Cat Man issues.
But $1,000 + for #14 in G/VG condition when OS lists it at $575 in 9.7 condition?!?! I guess when you're the only guy on eBay selling them, the sky's the limit in terms of what you can charge.
I've contacted him about bringing the prices down on a bulk purchase.

So I am completely ignorant.
I thought "Cat-Man" was just on the cartoon "Fairly Odd Parents" (my kids love that), and was the alter ego of Mayor Adam West. Voiced by Adam West! (He's more awsomer than Shatner!)

lol. Indeed, I didn't really know much about Cat Man until very recently when I started looking at wartime comics again with some degree of seriousness. Sadly, I got a smarmy reply from the eBay seller of this particular copy in which he states that $1,000 for a restored Cat Man #14 (book value $575 in NM condition) is a totally reasonable price for me to be paying, so I sent him a nice "get bent" re-reply and now I'm "on the prowl" so-to-speak for better deals.

Cheers. Now help me by convincing everyone who owns issues of this short-lived but epic series that their comics are WAY overpriced and that they should take pity on ye ol' SAS and sell them to me dirt cheap.
