Is it true that the Fantastic Four movie franchise is getting a reboot? Does this have anything to do with Disney?

Does this have anything to do with Disney?I don't think so, there has been talk of rebooting the franchise for quite a while now. I don't know how long Disney has been working towards buying out Marvel, but the movie license is currently held by Fox anyway. I don't know about a reboot, but they show FF4: Rise of the Silver Surfer daily on a couple of the sci-fi channels up here in Canada, and whenever they ramp up showings of past films related to a specific franchise, I take note. It almost never pans out, but one this is for certain - Disney isn't going to simply sit on whatever access to Marvel creations they now have. They are going to do what Disney genuinely does best - exploit, exploit, exploit. If Fox has rights, Disney will find a way to weasel them back into their court, you can bet on it.

Who would you guys cast in a reboot and what storyline would you go with?I don't really have much of an opinion on who should be cast, except that Chris Evans needs to return as Johnny. I thought he fit perfectly. My wife claims that I have a man crush on him, but he acted just like I would imagine the torch to act.  I didn't mind watching Alba, but it had nothing to do with the character she was playing.

| While the casting is always important, I'm more curious about what story they'll tackle next. I'd like to see either some negative zone action or a skrull story. I'd love to see a proper Galactus story, I just don't think that they could do it justice.
