Hey everyone, I've collected comics on and off for a long time but i never really paid a whole lot of attention to grading, just kinda went by what looked good to me. I'm trying to get a pretty good grasp on grading standards now and between my own understanding (or lack thereof) of the 10 point scale and assistance from E-bigs I've been working on grading my comics for a personal database and just wanted to get some opinions from the experienced people here. This forum has already been a great help with all the grading examples already up. Anyway neither of these books are of any real value just want to see how accurate my grading is right now so hopefully I'll get the scans right on the first shot. This first one I thought was a 9. There is some abrasion down around the lower left corner and the lower right corner is blunted with some color breaking, not visible here is a small bend perpendicular to the lower left corner and the scratch that appears below the S & A is not actually on the comic.

On the back cover are two spine stress marks that are pretty hard to see on the scan.

This second one has some light creases near the bottom that aren't visible in the scan and the cover is slightly rolled over the pages, the pages themselves are off-white to cream near the edges. I figured this was 7.

The areas on the back that look yellow aren't actually yellow but those are the areas where there is some light soiling.

I look forward to your opinions and thanks in advance.
