I received a message and then sent a reply.
The reply I sent then immediately showed up in my inbox as being from the person I was sending to.
I have absolutely no confidence in the messaging system now. How do I know if this isn't happening to people trying to send me messages about issues I'm selling?
Thanks.

Mostly because they would have complained about it in the forum if it was happening to them... I've expereinced that same glitch once in all the 1000's of PM's I've sent since we went to this forum software...It's just an random anomaly which I believe happens if the reply screen doesn't capture the original senders name in the "to" field...which results in the messege going to the only address it knows...

| I have had some difficulty the same as you last week. I received a message, I replyed and the same message came back to me as if the he had forwarded back to me. I am new here so I didn't know what to think. However, it has not happened since, which is good

The same issue happened to me about four weeks ago with two potential buyers. I replied to their messages and my reply came back to me. I tried to track the two individuals down through the list of CPG users but their names did not appear.
On another note, this morning I received an e-mail stating I had a new offer on one of my comics. I logged into ComicsPriceGuide.com (both versions) and I had no messages. Any idea what might have happened? Could the person have withdrawn their offer and the message then deleted?
Thanks for your help. I would just like for the system to work because I have some extra books I would like to get rid of and I would just as soon sell them to CPG members. I've tried three times now and have struck out.
