Hey all... no updates on the comic front as far as Spidey goes, but figured I'd post some of my Spidey original art for your viewing pleasure...

First up, Amazing Spider-Man Family #2 p.29 with pencils by Ron Frenz, inks by Sal Buscema (a heavyweight Spidey art team if there ever was...)

Next up, a Spidey sketch by Mark Bagley...  I love this little sketch, as it has a lot more life to it than most of Bag's Spidey stuff.

Lastly for this update... a Spidey commission by Riley Rossmo (artist of Proof from Image).  This guy is the real deal... definitely one of my fav artists out there.  Check out Proof if you're not already!!

I'll update with some more later... can't let them all out of the bag at once!

Just to keep you on the edge of your seats, the next updates may contain art by the likes of Craig Rousseau, Erik Larsen, Nate Bellegarde, Dan McDaid, or Kelly Tindall!

Stay tuned!

Dude,

I'm so jealous. That is probably some of the coolest original art that I've ever seen. I hate you.

Here's another Spidey double-whammy for ya!

First up, ASM #229 in VF condition.  This leaves me 1 issue (#211) short of a full run 200 to current!  I'll be missing 15 variants or reprints in that set, but who's counting?

Next up...

Nope, sorry, not another comic... but a sweet Spidey commission I had done by Dan McDaid, artist of Jersey Gods at Image Comics. (this one's not framed either, Tex)

Check it!

Hey brother,

That ASM #229 is crispy!! Very nice.

Dude, you have soooo much cool original art!!! I'd kill for that one right there by McDaid! It is too sweet!

No frame? No problem...just send all of your unframed ones to your old buddy TEX. I'll frame them and...I don't do this for everyone...I'll even hang them on my walls for you!!

Ain't friendship grand?

That McDaid art is real sweet.  I'm diggin the way he draws Spidey!

You ever try going mad without power?  It's boring, no one listens to you!

Loved ASM 229 and 230.  I've always liked Juggs, but that was a very cool story, one of my favorites at the time.
