I don't know if anyone else on the board is interested but I am an avid collector of all things Vertigo. I know, I know, these are all DC books, but any imprint that has lasted this long deserves some love. So please jump in and post how many you have.
Just a point of clarification before I post my counts. As I'm sure you know, several of the original Vertigo titles started out as DC only books (no Vertigo). So how does one count a series like Hellblazer? 199 Vertigo issues and 62 Pre-Vertigo issues. So for the sake of simplicity, I'll update 2 counts - Vertigo and a much higher number including the Pre-Vertigo DC's from series that became Vertigo books. Included in this 2nd count will also be the early issues of Transmetropolitan that launched as a DC/Helix book.
Vertigo Books = 941
Vertigo + DC originals = 1,100
Hopefully others will join in and we can discuss and share books from this fantastic collection of work.

Picked up my weekly comics and got 3 of the 4 Vertigo books I was supposed to have. Somehow they ordered my copy of Dark Entries, but it wasn't delivered.
So that runs my totals to:
Vertigo= 944
Vertigo + Pre-V = 1103
And another nice Vertigo cover

Good topic. I am attempting to collect everything Vertigo, including all the series that changed over to Vertigo. It probably will take me a while to get some totals posted.
Hunting Preacher Preview and Flex Mentallo 1-4, if anyone has these hit me up...

Can't help you on the books listed, Preacher Preview and Flex are both MIA in my collection as well. I totally understand about the wait on the count, I only have a count on my because I just finished donig a complete inventory.

| I have no idea how many Vertigo's I have as I only have a publisher field and no imprint field on my spreadsheet but I was buying most of the Vertigo titles as they came out until about 1997 when I cut back a lot on new titles. Just taking a casual tour of my DC checklist I notice I have the following as a random sample of my Vertigo collection...
