I've searched on the internet, and I can't find anything about this. I have a couple copies of complete Spirit comics circa 1972 and am planning on selling them, but have no idea what a fair price is. They are inside 2 sealed bags, and while the outside bag is dingy, I'm pretty sure they're in fairly, if not very good condition themselves. (pictures below.) There are 3 separate bagged sets inside the main bag, and I have NO idea what the covers of the other two look like. Or the backs of them because there is notes about each story from Will Eisner on the back. Apologies for the less than stellar pictures, but I do not have a scanner and without removing them from the bags, I can't do any better.

I also have this which I believe is just excerpts from various Spirit stories, and again, there is a letter from Will Eisner covering the back.

If anyone knows their worth, or what to call them when trying to find them on google, I would really appreciate it. I'm not looking for them to be graded, just a ballpark for a fairly good or very good condition set like this.
EDIT: I just found it on Will Eisner's site. He lists it as "The Spirit Bag #1-4". That is the ONLY mention of it on the internet according to google. =/

| Those are the Spirit bag reprints from Johnny Achziger out of Spokane, Washington...Often under "Quintessence Publishing", though I don't remember if the Spirit bags reflected that... There were 4 sets all together, if I remember correctly...published in the early1970s...they pop up on Ebay on occasion...John may even still have some available... I thought we had them listed...but apparently not... There is currently a bunch of them on Ebay listed seperately for $.99 cents each...I'd be surprised if he sells them all at that price and in that way... John was also responsible for the tabloid-size "Gods of Mt. Olympus" by Joe Staton...which we also seem to be missing...and the "Phantom Goes to War" which we have listed...

| Yeah I saw the single sheets for 99 cents, but I think all four sets are in the larger bag. At least as far as I can tell they are. So figure like a buck a page maybe a little less? I just don't want to like, be over charging anyone or screw myself in the same turn.
