One thing i've noticed between this site and the Wizard site is that the people on here are so courteous and helpful.... heck, Earl even discusses prices with you and takes into consideration your advice.
Sometimes I frequent the Wizard board where actual staffers frequent and they're very rude and protective of their work.
If you offer constructive criticism they scream at you (through typed words) and pretend that there is nothing wrong with their magazine.
I'm coming for you Fantastic Four #48!!!

Likely they are always getting "constructive criticism". No doubt they likely used to listen to it and even make changes but in the end it hasn't changed their status. When you pour alot of time and effort into a project it hurts when all you get back is how much that project sucks ... or what you could do better.
Anyone who gets emotional over their price guide though needs a better hobby.

They haven't changed their guide nor has it been "accurate" is what I mean since its inception.

| Does it still have a price guide in it? Last time I read an issue was about 2 years ago and there was only like about 10 pages of price guide.

| I know every one likes to rag on Wizard, but I for one would be disappointed if they folded. Yes, there price guide is worthless, and a lot of the articles are overblown hype, but there is also some informative or entertaining stuff in each issue. I couldn't even tell you how many stories and series over the years I've tried and loved that I first heard about in Wizard.

| Regardless of any issues Wizard may have, and how people may feel about them, any comic-related publisher that goes out of business is bad for us as a whole. At least you can occasionally find Wizard at a newstand. How often do you see comics there? Just a thought.
ArgusAttention: Looking for Nude Variant Covers from all publishers except Avatar. Now at 203 distinct publishers. (Like the other administrators, I volunteer my time here because of a love of comics.)
