I've recently begun to fill in holes of my comics collection; specifically mid-70's issues of Fantastic Four, X-men and Spider-man.
I notice that some of the comics I purchase have a diamond price logo rather than the normal square box. Additionally, many of the UPC symbols of these comics have a black slash through them. Does this affect grading of these issues? Is the regular 'box' price logo without the slash through the UPC symbol more valuable? Appreciate any suggestions you may have. Thanks.

I know the slash through the box does no harm to the grade.

Those variations in Marvel comics are the early direct market vs newsstand editions. I doesn't change the grading on the book.
