ElectraWoman (11/8/2009) Well, I finally picked up my last issue of Y the Last Man and finished reading it today. It was a great read, and I'm glad that I've finished off my first series. Now on to the next one.
Congrats!!

I've been MIA for awhile now due to the end of the semester and finals, the holidays and a marathon of Battlestar Gallactica. I haven't been doing too much buying since I last posted, but I did just get this:

I mainly purchased this lot of Ex Machina for the two #1s. I've heard good things, so we'll see if this is the next series I try to complete.

Hey ElectraWoman!
I hope the semester and your finals went well. Happy Holidays!
I've heard good things about Ex Machina too. That's a spiffy lot that you have there!

Welcome back.
I was just reading up on the title on Wikipedia. Sounds interesting.
I also learned a lot about deus ex machina. Thank you wikipedia.

Welcome back ElectraWoman!!!
I hope that you like Ex Machina. I haven't read anything past the first three TPBs but I really enjoyed them when I did. I hope that you do the same.
Keep us posted.

Ex Machina 1 was a pretty good read, strong characters & sharp dialogue. I haven't stumbled across any other issues 2-10 yet, so that's as far as I've gone with this title, but it's on my 'someday' list.
Hope you enjoy 'em --

I really am terrible at updating this thing. My last semester (hopefully) has started, so I've been pretty busy with that. I haven't bought a whole lot of books, but my LCS had a sale a few weeks ago on all of his back issues for $.50 or $.25 if you get a 100. I mostly filled some gaps in my Lucifer series as well as picking up a few Fables, Jack of Fables and Runaways. You can't really go wrong with getting 100 books for $25.
I also picked up off of eBay:

The first three issues of Proof. I've heard good things, so I decided to give it a go.

$25 is cheaper than school books

Only by a couple hundred. No big deal!
