I was hoping someone could lead me in the right direction to find a complete list of comics and their tie in issues...I'm almost done collecting all the crisis on infinite earths tie in and infinite crisis tie ins. now i'm trying to do final crisis and the tie ins to the blackest night, but don't know where to begin. Any help would be appreciative.

I normally use Wikipedia as a starting point for this type of thing and then ask if anyone sees anything missing.

Earl.

yeah I try to use wikipedia, but it's not really that great on building an actual checklist of the comics I need...althouth it's still a good start I was hoping that someone would know a site that has a more complete listing.

The best I know of is comicbookdb.com but it's a work in progress.

Earl.

Actually, mycomicshop.com has a good list of series and their tie-ins.

Here is one for Final Crisis: http://www.mycomicshop.com/search?SeriesID=14518101

You can search for others from this list: http://www.mycomicshop.com/series

BTW, I don't work for them.  I am just happy with their service.

SHAZAM!!!

Dang, I’d wish that would work!

Try this site: http://dc.wikia.com/wiki/Final_Crisis_Crossovers

I've found it very helpful in picking up the various DC crossovers over the years.  Just type in the event your interested in in the search field and there is usually a page with a reading order and a link to related crossover issues.

The companies often produce checklist for their major events. They should be available at your local shops. Here is one for example for the first part of Blackest Night (I don't know if one exists for the Prelude but it ran through Green Lantern and Green Lantern Corps for sure):
