The Spectre,
Before he was de-powered. And the Phantom Stranger, if he has "permission" to intervene.

TEX Agreed ... everyone always gets "scared" when Galactus shows up only to watch him get his a$$ handed to him time and again. I'd put Speedball up against him and it would be the ultimate Speedball triumph.
I do like Galactus though ... one of my Marvel favs.

My son was watching a Fantastic Four cartoon, and I caught the end.
(I know the TV cartoons are not considered pure canon to some, but it is Stan Lee approved.)
Galactus showed up, and Thor and the FF could not defeat him.
The Ghost Rider rode up. Galactus does have a soul. With the Penance Stare he felt the pain of EVERY living being he ever killed.
No fight. No resistance. The Big Guy went down almost instantly.
I found it interesting.

Really? Galactus has a soul? I didn't realize cosmic beings had souls. That's a pretty lame cop out for the cartoon. I'd demand my money back on that one.

Apparently.
>>I didn't realize cosmic beings had souls.
Why would they not? You seem to be hatin' on the cosmic beings there...

I tried to, but since it was just a 30 minute show on Cartoon Network - it didn't equal the cell phone minutes.

Yep,
I remember that episode! LOL!! I remember thinking, "What goes on here?" Ghost Rider put Galactus down? But it made a lot of sense when I thought about it.
