| Hi. Just joined the site. TBH really I just wondered if any of you experts could advise me of the approx ballpark value of my 2000AD collection. I have issues 2-approx 950. All early issues ( first 150 or so.) are in vg+ condition in comic bags. The rest are generally at least good or better condition. What would be the best way to sell them. Obviously nearly 1000 comics are extremely heavy. Thanks for any help.

| Sold individually they tend to get £1 on ebay uk but it can take several relists to shift them. Issues below 100 obviously do better. Full years sell for about £20. A full set of 1 through 1,400 sold for £900 on ebay last year after being listed several times.

| Thanks for your help. On that basis would you think I would be being fair to ask for £400-£500? Baring in mind all my early copies are in vgc? Thanks again. I suspect there are a fair few people who have similar 2000AD collections so maybe not ever so rare but still worth a reasonable sum? How on Earth would I go about selling them!? Cheers.

| I would ask for offers in the sales section of the following forum... http://www.comicsuk.co.uk/Forum/viewforum.php?f=2 I would put up a scan of issue 2 (the most valuable issue you have) so people can judge condition. If you don't get any good offers I would try it on ebay.co.uk with a reserve but be prepared to list it a few times before someone comes along. The trouble with selling full sets like this is you price the less well off buyers out of the market who can only afford to buy individually over time. You also fail to attract people who already have a partially complete set and don't want a lot of doubles. It's very appealing however to people who only have a handful of issues and would like a long run. Good luck. Earl.
