| While digging through my father-in-laws comic book collection (which he is giving us) we came across an odd german comic book. I'm interested in getting more information on this book, like the date it was published and estimated value. I don't have pictures at the moment but can provide them soon. Here is the title: Heinzelmann-poft Fur die Jugend The comic has a stamp on the stop that says: Sporthaus Schuster Munchen the Issue # is 15 and the very top says Verkaufsstelle der Henzelmann-Wasche Any help?

| Welcome. There may be someone who can help more than I. I am not familiar with the comic you described, but a scan or even picture of the cover would help greatly. One thing I would ask you do to help (for me to check on this, anyway), is to look for a little blurb called an 'indicia'. This will say the official title and who published the book, usually when published and where. It will probably be on the bottom of the first couple pages. To help identify the publisher, it will probably say verlag or erscheinen or some variation of those words. The capitalized name associated with those words will probably be the publisher. Good luck!

| my wifes dream is to open up her own comic book store, and recently her father GAVE us his comic book collection, to either sell or save for when we open up our store. We are currently going through, sorting it all out right now, ranging from the early 1940's-1979. It's a LOT of comics, this one just happened to be amongst the lot of books. We're pretty sure he aquired it from his father who served during World War II. We're not as interrested in selling this as just knowing information about it

| Goodness, definitely don't sell it. That one is a keeper! If she really wants to open a store (which I recommend against unless you can afford to operate at break even at best <- Which means you make enough to support both of you), then you may decide to use the collection as 'wall' books. They can be good large rings in addition to your new releases and general back issue sales.

| Oh trust me we realize at best we might break even w/ a store of our own. The plan is for me to get promoted at work to General Manager, and us be able to sustain our living off my salary, while she opperates the store. It's going to be a comic book / used book store. Not sure where we will be doing this at, since I'm most likely getting moved around the country somewhere to open a store for my company.
