i wasn't saying updates aren't important but up to the minute and hot issues is really not necessary. I would rather effort be made at the guide as a whole instead of working to spend most energy on staying up on hot trends.

I was just thinking how great it would be if this site was like Wiki and anyone could go in and update the values as needed.

I have noticed my collection never increases in value anymore ( I miss those little green up arrows - I wonder if it has anything to do with the wonderful economy

Moderns on the move include Chew, Unwritten, Greek Street (hotting up), various Michael Jackson related titles and Ultimate Spider-man (cooling down). Prices in the guide have been changed on all these moderns in the last week.

The following shows the sort of info that is really helpful when determining guide on a book...

To be honest it's a doddle to get pricing info on most American moderns. It titles like this one where we need help with sales data...

http://www.comicspriceguide.com/p-issues.aspx?EyoBuG3pK40smlIEMmFilEBc56Gv6wb8w4ni3T7apHM%3d

If you think an issue of Moon Knight is worth something, tell me the value and I will update it but I need at least 5 sales in the above format to back up you assertion and you need to go back in 3 months to see how it's doint then, and 3 months after that and so on. Most people who know comics know when something like Chew is getting 'hot', the harder bit is keeping the guide in line when it cools again and no one is talking about it. We also need data for sales under 9.4 grades.

How it is Moon Knight sales research coming along?

The eBay dealers selling their items at BUY NOW never got back to me like promised and I actually bought a Moon Knight 56 from Craigslist for 10.00 NM.

For some reason a lot of people on eBay don't wish to discuss their sale prices. Wonder why?

Also, don't know if you read my other thread but Amazing Spider-man #229 seems to be for sale on average of around 30.00 to 35.00's an issue. The comic shops here in Montebello, CA and East Los Angeles have them priced to move for the same price.

Any knowledge of maybe why?

I think I posted all the eBay info on this Amazing Spider-Man issue on my Amazing Spidey 229 thread.

Here's a few listings of sellers selling their Moon Knight 55 books. I'll send them messages asking for final sales.

Moon Knight #55

Item number: 320374534615 $75.00

Item number: 250343990252 $41.99

Moon Knight 57

Item number: 380143053095 $19.95
Item number: 150360466954 $24.00
Item number: 310156625225 $36.00

These Moon Knight items seem to be hard to get scarce items thus their high price and the reason for so few of them on the market.

Also just wondering, but if and when you guys do update the top ten books, I always thought it was unfair to list the books together, because what is a hot book in the golden age era is mostly a hot book to the people who could actually afford those books.

So I figure why not divide the top tens. Have a golden age top ten, a silver age top ten, a bronze age top ten and a modern age top ten?

This way all books can be represented accordingly.

You don't need to email them, ebay has a facility in their search criteria called'Completed Listings'which will return all completed actions for the last month.
