Mm-hm!!

Welcome to the forums friend, and congrats on having the nicest Flaming Carrot lot I've ever seen. I'm hunting for #1 myself.

my number one is a little banged up(fine condition), but I bought it from a local comic book shop instead of ebay. I tried to pick up as many issues from comic book shops and shows for this run, because I think it's important to support the brick and mortar stores even though most of them sell on ebay as well. Since I'm a marvel zombie, I thought it would be better to diversify my collection with a nice independent run. Took over ten years to put it together.

I talked to Bob Burden about 6 months ago. I run into him at the oddest times in places off the beaten path that have nothing to do with comics.

nice copy, the only banged up issue I have is one. I was surprised that I bought an extra copy of 15 by accident, only to find out it has a cover variant. I'll post a picture later when I'm not drinking off the fact that I just watched the Dolph Lundgren version of the Punisher. oh what the heck. Here's the variant....

Cool JETJAGUAR!!

Dolph's Punisher was the best IMO.

I bought it bootleg on vhs at a comic book store, it was missing about ten minutes of footage. When it came out it was limited release at theaters. Yeah, I think it's awful (no skull shirt) but I've got a soft spot for it because it was A MARVEL MOVIE! wow that seems like such an odd saying, but back in the late '80s that was hot stuff.

I remember Bob talking about the variant once.

He used to show my friends his Mystery Men ideas and I'd just sit and listen. At the time I didn't know a movie was already in the works.
