After reading Chucks take on the Con it seems that comics are just a small shrinking part of the con now. And the prices they must be asking for booth space must have skyrocketed dramatically. He seems to have a good feel for the cons after how many years of going to most of them in the states. I would take his word on what he wrote about. Being that I am not that big into movies and most tv shows I would of been disappointed at what I might have seen there while trying to look for books to buy and related items since it is a COMIC CON.
I am not knocking the Con since it is a huge event that thousands love to go to every year. Just sounds like Hollywood has taken over it after reading the article. I am sure others are looking the same way, like Wizard World cons like in Chicago and the big con in New York. I have a few friends that go to Chicago and set up there store and make a 1/4 of the net just at the con.
