If you guys aren't aware, issue #2 of Chew came out yesterday, you might want to pick up a few copies if you're near a Comic Shop. If they happen to have issues #1 (1st or 2nd prints) for cover price, you might want to pick up those too.
The low print runs and the huge sudden demand for these have been driving prices insane for them. #2 came out yesterday and you can see people selling them for $15 each on eBay.
Stated print run as per the writer.
#1 (1st print) 6,000
#1 (2nd print) 3,000
#2 (1st print) 9,000
Plus, it's a good read so far...

What is Chew and how is it UG related? Not familiar with it at all. Is it something that would be of interest other than for an investment?

Is that the Image title? If so, wow, I didn't realize they printed in such small numbers!
Here's a quick description, taken from comicmonsters.com:
"Tony Chu is a cop with a secret. A weird secret. Tony Chu is Cibopathic, which means he gets psychic impressions from whatever he eats. It also means he's a hell of a detective, as long as he doesn't mind nibbling on the corpse of a murder victim to figure out whodunit, and why. It's a dirty job, and Tony has to eat terrible things in the name of justice. And if that wasn't bad enough, the government has figured out Tony Chu's secret. They have plans for him... whether he likes it or not."
That actually sounds like a pretty good read.

| Not UG related unless making a few extra bucks to buy more UG's is related, not really suggesting an investment, more an opportunity to flip for a quick $ and just sharing...

Read that next month these will be released.
I'm sure the print runs will be much larger than the currently released printings.
#1 (3rd print)
#2 (2nd print)
#3 (1st print)
CGC 9.8 copies are already in the $200 range.
By the way, the 2nd print of #1 didn't hit most stores yet and will be in next Wednesday.

Image is no longer just a "mainstream" publisher. They are also a "vanity" publisher, meaning if you're willing to pay they'll publish your book with an image logo on it.

| 6,000 is actually a pretty solid number for an Image title and a few DC and Marvel comics now sell less than that. Earl.
