Hey, sorry I havent posted any examples recently as I have been busy but I couldn't resist this one as its hard to find Pressing examples. Not sure how this one got bent but it was bent bad. I tried a dry heat press of whole book and got absolutly nowhere. I decided to disassemble and humidity press each page individually and this was a 52 page special. That did the trick and a final dry heat press to smooth out the blotter marks from the humidity pressing and its good to go. Oh just incase you are wondering there is nothing holding that bend up thats just how bad it was bent. Before:

I took about 3 weeks. It wasn't much fun but the end result was very satisfying.

MasterCPU (6/30/2009) I took about 3 weeks. It wasn't much fun but the end result was very satisfying.THAT took you three weeks to complete and you are very sastified with the results? you have got to be kidding. There is major ink loss to the cover and despite all your effort the book is a wavy mess. I dare you to post this on the cgc board and see what those guys have to say about it

You sound like FFB. I think you missed the point. I posted this so you could see a pressing example, I never said it was perfect. You think I missed the point? really. If as you say you posted these pictures so everyone could see an example of pressing then I believe you need to rethink what pressing is and how you are doing it. All this served was to show people what a horribly pressed book looks like. I would rather have owned that book before you played spanish inquisition with it because while badly bent it was not ruined. glad you were very satisfied with the results though.

Maybe you could explain why you have visited 229 times and only post once before now. Something is fishy about you.

| What does my visited count have to do with anything. After seeing your work it prompted me to create an account. I suggest you work on worthless readers for awhile because it is obvious you have no idea what you are doing.

Why do you care which books I work on anyways? Do you work for a restoration company or are you a comic book rights activist? LoL
