Picked this up today. I'm a long time Uncanny reader and have picked up all of Dark Avengers so far. This cross over kick off was really good. I wasn't to excited going into the issue but I gave it a go and was impressed.

Anyone else read this? Opinions?

I hope the rest of this crossover is as good as the start.

Been outta the loop the last three weeks, hopefully I can do a pick up tomorrow.

.
I wont lie, shinedown's version is good, but Lynyrd Skynyrd's is what Jesus, Chuck Norris, Chesty Puller, Ronald Reagan, and my Father listen to every morning when they wake up. -'bobthebanshee' on Skynard's 'Simple Man' (an all-time favorite)

I liked it- but  its got kind of a "been there done that feel"

Mutants hated by people - shocking !

No issue 2 for me $$$ tight

I can see your point on a repeated concept. I just hope for 2 things:

1) More playing on the desperation of mutant extinction
and
2) Serious head to head battles between the 2 teams.

I want to see Anyone vs Ares.

Well picked up Uncanny X-men 513 today, business is definitely picking up. The roster reveal for the new "Dark X-men" had one shocker for me. I really thought I had identified all of the characters from the promos, but I got one wrong. I'll not say who, to avoid spoiling it.

So anyone else digging this?

Got a really good point with #1... and they should be desperate. I know I wouldn't be showing my face in public after my kind got whittled down to a couple hundred. Every jerk with a mad-on for mutants would be coming after me with an atomic pitchfork.

#2 better happen also... I hate a team vs. team comic and lousy action! Put my man Colossus up against Ares (sans weapons), that would be a good duke-out! (Whats with the writers these days, anyway! They all make Pete look like a wuss!! Colossus is up there with the big dogs strength-wise, but always gets beat down by the likes of some weenie!)

Well read part2 and part3 and the tie-in from X-men Legacy. This is really good. Part 3 pushed the story forward, but the action was a little low. I really hope they don't drop the ball on finishing this.

I'm really enjoying this, but I thought it odd that, personally I found out more and ejoyed more from the legacy tie in than the rest. But maybe thats just me.

Are Arbitary Labels more important than the way we live our lives, what we're supposed to be more important than what we actually are?!

I actually really dug the crossover parts I've gotten from UXM and now Dark Avengers #7. I don't know why, it really is a been there done that kind of thing but there hasn't been any good team vs. team stuff done since Civil War with Marvel. Makes for some fun.
