| Can Anyone help me PLEASE? I have these really old, i'm talking 1993ish comics called the VCs (Vacuum Cleaners). There was only 5 ever made by DC and they were about a group of army types killing aliens. Very Gears of War type stuff. I've tried tracking them down to see if they have any value now but can't find them anywhere. Any ideas would be great please! They are in protective sleeves and in MINT condition.

| Well, "old" is a relative term, but I'm afraid that in this case, 1993 just doesn't cut it. Additionally, in order for a comic to have any kind of "value", it must have a demand. Unfortunatley, VC doesn not meet either of these criteria. Even in mint condition, it is doubtful that this title could even garner the cover price. Now, if at some point in the future, the series gets re-launched or the characters or creators receive some type of other media attention, then it may be a different story.

Wow... if 1993 is "really old," then I am positively ancient.

But 16 years is a long time ago. Not to those of us of advancing years of course but I remember collecting comics in 1978 aged 10 and stuff from 1968 seemed really old, never mind 16 years back to 1962 back when my dad was a teenager seemed like ancient history. Heck in 1978 comics from 1972 seemed really old.
