I haven't picked up my copy yet but I'm half dying to know if Steve Rogers is indeed coming back and what goes on in this issue to further that along. I know there's a separate mini that is supposed to be really what's been going on with him and explaining things but figured I'd start the #600 discussion here.

| I haven't been reading Cap for awhile, so there was probably some syuff over my head, but I did pick up this issue on a whim, and it was pretty good. Lots of 4-8 page stories of differnet related characters in the Cap circle. The one that proably refrenced Cap's return the strongest was the story focusing on Sharon Carter. Without giving too much away, she is starting to remember some stuff from when she shot Cap, and claims she may know how to bring him back.

| I don't believe it, I haven't received my copy of Cap 600 yet, but I think that James is just getting into his groove as Cap and Steve's return would be a waste of a powerful storyline. Now, I didn't want Steve dead anyways, but it was a beautiful death. Besides, what if he comes back and he's tired? What if he's at rest and he doesn't want to come back. Would he walk away? Raise a family? Live a normal life? He's carried a weight on his shoulders for so long that he deserves a rest. Besides, isn't he a celestial body now or something? TEX

My copy is sitting here, but I'm in the middle of another story arc. The consensus I've seen is that everyone wants bucky to keep on for a while. I guess I'll preorder the Cap Reborn mini and see - the hints are that he's coming back - Marvel sorta sucks at big twists though - I'll cross my fingers - they're due to get something right. I mean even a fat dog falls off the couch and is able to lick his b@#$ once in a while.

-slymOh boy. What'd he die for...or did he die? Maybe it was a Life Model Decoy; he pulled a Nick Fury. You know, I get sick of this you didn't see WTF you saw crap from Marvel and DC. One minute Brubaker and Quesada are yelling, "dead is dead" and the next minute they're bustin' the happy feet and dancin' away with my cash and an entire story line, like the f***ing Gingerbread Man.  But...I guess it could be interesting. Who am I kidding? If Cap's involved, I'm all in as usual.  TEX PS Whatup slym? How you doin'?

Steve doesn't come back in Cap #600 but they do pretty much fill you in on how its going to go down. The gun that was used to kill him is the main thing. It had some kind of suspended animation/near death mode I'm sure it'll turn out. The mini series is going to actually bring him back though. The big thing will be what to do with Bucky after that. He's turned into a super cool Cap and I think a lot of people will be disappointed to go to good old Steve Rogers, golly gee Cap.
