I have had this copy of Marvel Spotlight #1 for sometime now. I have never noticed until tonight, but inside the pages there are 4 defects. Other than that, the comic is extremely clean other than the spine has rolled to where the staples are more towards the back, yet still extremely flat. Other than that tho, this issue is bright, full of good color, no stress marks, cream/off white pages, just a really good comic.

No here is my question, the defects inside the comic. The first one is on the second page (left page), it is like a printing mistake! Its something that I have never come across before. It is like there was excess ink that spilled onto the page and made a streak from the top to bottom with a blotch of it somewhere in between. The same exact streak, just not as dark is on the 6th (left page) and 7th (right page) pages, mirroring each other like they had touched and made the same mark. The same exact streak shows up one more time on the 11th page(right page), and darker like the one on the second page. This is clearly a defect that came from printing. I mean, there is a pattern to it, it is the exact same streak on all 4 pages, and its just heavy dark ink. My question is, how does this affect the value or grade of this comic book? Is something like this very critical, or the fact that it has nothing to do with how the comic has been taken care of and is a manufacturing mistake make it not so frowned upon? Any help would be great. Thanks a bunch.

Oh! And btw! I have picture, but they are saved on my computer and i don't have them to where I can get a URL for them to post them on here. If anyone would like to take a look at them to help me out I can send them in an email to you. Thanks again.

It will keep it out of the high 9's if you were sending it in to be graded but it doesn't seem to effect the story in any way. Should have no impact on the grade.
