I want to recommended this book to anyone looking for something new and different. It's an easy book to overlook, but judging from the first issue it looks pretty fun. The writing is solid, with a nice, twisted sense of humor and the art was great!(at least I thought so-art is so subjective,ya know?). Anyway, you guys know what kind of stuff I like, so if you have a couple extra books and want to give something new a try, check this one out.

This ones kind of hard to explain Tex, but I'll give it a try.

The lead character,Det. Chu, can get the "memories" of things he eats. so if he eats an apple, he can see what tree it was from, who picked it,etc. Through a strange series of circumstances(including the fact that in this world chickens have been outlawed as food because of avian flu, and the FDA is now more powerful  than homeland Security) Chu ends up eating part of a suspected serial killer to find more info about his crimes. And it's funny.

Cool, glad you liked it. I know its a little differnet then the stuff I usually recommend, but we seem to have pretty similar tastes overall, and I thought it might be something you would like.

This book has had an insane response... it's now going to a 3rd printing of #1, #1 will be reprinted as a b&w flip book in Walking Dead #63, and #2 is going to a 2nd print.

1st prints of #1 are selling like hotcakes on eBay right now (hotcakes being worth $40-50).

Definitely a fun read, and a very original premise.

Yeah, I've seen that. I'm thinking of selling my #1 and rebuying it later when the fuss dies down. I can't see it maintaining that price for more than a few months.
