I picked it up because I'm a sucker for Quitely art. I haven't read any of the RIP books, but I've read some recent Batman here and there so i have a basic idea of what's going on.

I enjoyed it,but not really sure if it's something I would continue to get. Anyone have any opinions on this one?

I LOVED it....

I second that emotion,

I just hope this doesn't end up campy. But I guess Dick's personality will show thru in some way; he's got to be Batman his way. Damian reminds me of Tim Drake. He's rebellious, but maybe Dick will get thru to him and they will become the greatest team ever.

Is Dick as good a fighter as Bruce? He's supposed to have greater physical prowess I think. I don't think he's as smart either, and that worries me plenty because Batman is first and foremost a detective. What do you guys think?

I like this one (however seemed a little short - almost like they ended up splitting the first issue). I'll probably continue to get it. It'll be my replacement for trinity on my pull list.

Alrightyyyyy then!

I was disapointed..........
A flying Batmobile........but no Terry McGinnis

Aside from that...it was ok..
Thats about all i can say about it.

I haven't followed DC alot but I picked up issue #1 and jut finished reading it. I am on board for a couple issues.

I liked it but thought it was lacking a little. Hopefully there will be more action coming up in the next issues. I don't have a clue on what's going on with what happened to Bruce, what Battle for the Cowl was, who Nightwing is, and who Damian is. But I didn't fel overwhelmed and was able to get the gist of what happened previously.

Damian is Bruce Waynes son from Ra's al Ghul daughter, Talia. He was going to be used by Ra's al Ghul's right hand man to use him as a "new body" for Ra's al Ghul but Damian and his mother had other ideas...See past issues of Robin or Batman for this story line. I can't remember which.... I think it was in Robin before it was cancelled.

At least this is who I think he is without reading the issue. Still waiting for it to get delivered. In Robin he was a spoiled little brat that always wanted to prove to Batman that he was worthy and was highly trained by Talia in martial arts.

I really liked this issue. I'm not normally a fan of Grant Morrison. I haven't been able to get into his stuff since his run on the JLA ended. This issue gave me hope that he's still a writer I can enjoy.

I thought the new tech was outstanding, and it really fit Dick Grayson's personality (especially the parachute capes - not to be confused with parachute pants).

Issue 2 looks just as good and I'm on board for the entire run.
