I'm new to this forum and I have a question as to whether anyone has any information about the price or popularity of this magazine. It is a comic called "THE 'NAM". I have three issues left, #12, #13 and #16. Any information on this subject would be greatly appreciated.

I used to LOVE The 'Nam. I think that why I'm a huge fan of The Walking Dead. Both follow the same premise. You've got a ragtag group surrounded by chaos. Through great writing, you get strong character development & you grow attached to them. Just when you start to feel comfortable...BAM! They're gone! Just like that!! ...Then you're introduced to new characters & the whole process begins again. Of course, anything Vietnam was big in the late 80s; thanks to movies like Platoon, Full Metal Jacket, & Hamburger Hill. The 'Nam was tops. I remember how big of a deal it was for Frank Castle to appear, pre-Punisher. I used to also read Vietnam Journal by Vietnam vet, Don Lomax. (Apple Comics, 16 issues, '88-'89) It was much more graphic & edgier than The 'Nam .

At the top of the page there is a link that says THE GUIDE . It will take you to the price guide this site offers. From experience, these books aren't very valuable, I often see them in discount bins in comic shops in my area (Southeast US).

Checked eBay and all of these issues can be had at $1 each.

Everything that Ed said.......

'Nam just wasn't that unique.....just another read, but not a collectible.
