Alright, all you DC fanatics... I need you to start listing all the DC comics from the Silver Age up to 1990 that have some good value. I've raided this place of all Marvel I know are valuable, or wanted, and now its time to ransack it for the good DC stuff.

I know bupkus about the DCU, so throw in what you know is worth it. Ex: I picked up a 50¢ DC "100" (#DC20) for a quarter... value was $75 in 9.4 (graded it 8.0), so got lucky on that shot. I consider anything at $5 value or better for 50¢ worthy of buying. (This is a half off cover price store, can get 20¢ covers for 10¢ without raising suspicion.)

Thank you for any and all suggestions,

Tom

.

I wont lie, shinedown's version is good, but Lynyrd Skynyrd's is what Jesus, Chuck Norris, Chesty Puller, Ronald Reagan, and my Father listen to every morning when they wake up. -'bobthebanshee' on Skynard's 'Simple Man' (an all-time favorite)

And if you can find them, be on the look out for early Vertigo books, Hellblazer #1, #10, and #27 come to mind as keys. But these books will not feature the Vertigo logo, they predate the line.

Early Preacher issues (#1-8) would also be good.

Absolute Vertigo #1

Thanks for the ideas, Ed, will keep an eye out for those!

Posted in a couple other different threads, its a clock shop and comics/cards/toys shop as well, called the 'Tick Tock Clock Shop'. Located near Columbus, GA, north of Ft. Benning off I-185. Street is Buena Vista, almost directly across from a Wal-Mart and next to a chinese restaurant (I always grab a large plate of chicken fried rice after a big pick up. ).
