I posted a similar topic in moderns originally. Along with DC and Marvel there were quite a few other publishers that have 1/2 issues as well. The list is still under the thread in moderns--won't recopy it, but would appreciate if anyone has a 1/2 I'm missing on the list to post it as a reply. Also does anyone else collect just the 1/2s or only as part of a run? | I'm currently still collecting silver and bronze, but to fill the times when my budget is low I've taken to collecting these 1/2 moderns started by wizard mag. They're not usually a full length comic but the cover art is cool and spans a wide variety of comics---including some i normally wouldn't collect. Pulled from cpg's guide,ebay, and the internet---I was wondering if i missed any issues that had the 1/2 number. I didn't want to include ace or 0 editions. just the 1/2's. The number in front is the issue in which wizard gave their version away and/or the publishers version corresponded to. |

| If you are wanting to obtain those issues, you need to post in the 'Wanted' forum, otherwise it would be considered soliciting, which isn't allowed in any of the other threads. In the database here they are listed with the regular title (which is where I file the few that I have.) I don't actively search for them, but I will get it if it is part of a title I collect. (I am a completist).

I'm not asking for any issues (i.e want list). Since the 1/2 numbers are scattered throughout many publishers, titles, even volumes....I was asking if anybody had an issue with the 1/2 numbering that wasn't on the list. There is more than one way to be a completionist...lol. There is no comprehensive list of such issues. It would even help if you could search the whole database by issue # not just title or keyword. This was just an impulse starting to collect these, but it turned out more difficult than some complete runs.

| Sorry about the confusion, then. Unfortunately, I am unaware of any source for finding those Wizard 1/2's, either. You might check some of the online retailers. I know if you do a search for Wizard by publisher at mycomicshop.com, they show a number of 1/2's. You could probably do the same at Mile High and others........
